Leak

Hi,
The other day I was driving along in my '95 RV6 and could smell fuel.. its just prompted me to look under the bonnet (I'm not so good with Engines.. electronics however are a different story)..

Anyway I've noticed a bit of a mess under the bonnet, but I can't figure out where its coming from.. There isn't really a smell to it either so I'm not sure if its fuel..

Anyone able to offer suggestions as to where i can check? or if to tell if its an old leak?

Looks like your oil filter has a leak. Did you check your engine oil level?

It's either coolant or oil, probably oil.
Both have a distinctive smell and feel, stick your finger in there and have a sniff.
