leaking rear differential on 97 4Runner

I have a 97 4Runner with a leaky rear differential. The leak appears to be coming from the differential cover, which is all rusted. Can the differential cover be replaced or welded, or does the entire rear differential need replacing. If so, How much would a used rear differential cost?

try getting it resealed. that's what I did with mine. I don't think it was too expensive probably a lot cheaper than to replace any items. post up a picture so we know exactly what's going on.

did you use epoxy to reseal? If so what kind did you use I have a leak in my rear housing aswell and would rather just epoxy for now.
