LED Brake Lights

Has anyone considered or completed a LED brake or signal light conversion? Came across these and they got me thinking...

I have a pair of red 1157 style led brake lamps made by APS in my rear fogs (mod). Overall they aren't all that bad--just a tad brighter than the regular tails and a lighter shade of red. I'd like to see if the ones from the link provided would be a darker shade of red than mine.

I don't know if the flasher in the 4Runner will work right if you replace the regular tail bulbs with an led cluster.

I just read the thread about modding the rear aux / fog lamps. I may try them in there first and see how they are.

Replaced my Rear Park/Stop light with SuperBrightLED #7443 Red 15-LED. They are not as bright as the regular filament type bulb. But the cool thing is the led lights goes full quickly. Unlike filament type that lights up not as fast. If you want brighter ones, go Luxeon LED - also from the same vendor www.SuperbrightLED.com. I also changed my Maplight with #194 White 5-LED - I like it.
