LED corner bulbs

I just purchased some HIDs from DDM tuning and received these free gift bulbs. They look like 194s but I swapped them out and neither work. I went back to the originals and those work just fine. Any ideas?

LED bulbs are polarized. Did you try reversing the terminals?

I did...I thought there was no way I got both reversed, but I tried anyway.

I used 194's in my corner's and they worked fine. One thing that I had to do to the passenger side was pull the metal out a bit to make sure they were touching inside the terminal correctly.

Sometimes aftermarket 194's and other bulbs have a slightly thinner base so the metal does not contact correctly. Just use your nails or knife to get under the sides and pull them up slightly.

Many of the 194 LED bulbs are made in China. I went with Phillips 921, (probably also made in China but at least backed by a decent US company). They are meant for reverse bulbs. Very big and bright. They fit in the corner lenses without issues. Check them out in my build thread below.

Not sure what brand mine are, but I have LED corners that work fine.

I love them they are insanely bright. Also purchased a second set and installed one in my 3rd brake light.
My dad has them in his 2014 corolla for back up lights
I see them lasting for quite awhile as we have both had them for 8 or 9 months with no issues
