LED Cubes as Fog Lights

Has anyone else done this an '06? I installed a pair of Rigid Dually DOT fogs in my Tacoma with a kit they had designed specifically for the Tacoma, but nothing for the 4Runner.

Looking for some tips and tricks, clean install on an 06. The DOT Duallys are outstanding, with awesome cut off.

i know of some ways to diy it with some sheet metal
 
FWIW...
I had the cheap chinese cubes in my bumper for mock up and general feel of light output, I then spent the money on Rigid Duallies. Well worth the $$. I do have to say that on rainy days where you would want the extra light, i get flashed more often because of the glare off the road vs on dry days. I have one pair tied in with the factory fog switch and the other pair which are floods aimed off to the side a bit are on a separate switch. I have done the fog light mod and love using them in the daytime.

I love the light output and use them a lot on rally stages, I am looking to get the amber covers to make it so they are able to penetrate the snow, fog and rain a bit better.

my setup on my '06. i have rigids, pretty sure theyre duallys, or d2's or whatever theyre called. forgot the name, sorry. got the amber (yellow) caps on there too

Do you have any closer pics? How'd you wire them. I was thinking about doing this on my rig .any write up? Any more info would help thanks.

this has nothing to do with the thread but i am more interested in your quad retro lol. i have s2k and tl bixeon projectors i want to use. who did your retro?? and what kind of harness did you use? because i want to make use of the bixenon function.

I'm a fan of the output, although not shooting as far as HIDs in the lamps, the cubes (mine are from expedition outfitters) are 100% better in how much light they disperse up front/close. I have the amber lens too which make it a better light output for it's purpose than just white too...

We have a 2 year warranty. But with our bars we offer 5w Osram leds and our lights are ip68 and gore went systems to prevent moister.
