I wanted to upload pictures of the job that our member emelianenkov did on my gauge cluster and HVAC. He did it in an amazing timeframe, was very professional, did a great job and I would recommend his work for anyone wanting to do this mod:guitar3:

sorry didnt realize how huge the HVAC picture was. But atleast you can see the white LEDs with the red arrows he did for me

Alex, I wish I could have you do my gauges! The problem is I use my 4Runner every day to get to and from work! Guess I'll just have to bust out the soldering iron and do it myself...hmmm...guess I'll need to get an electric one. I have a feeling my butane iron wouldn't work very well for this...

I use a gps and fill my tank often when I drive without my gauges.

I use a butane torch for most of my soldering. The corded soldering irons piss me off, the cordless electric ones don't work worth a damn, so butane was the way to go!

What is the turn around time?
How much is it?
The HVAC controls, is a guy to send in his whole set up?
This is also my only vehicle. need very specific details on TAT.

You send your gauges to me. I'm working on getting a loaner set of gauges to ship out to other members before they send me theirs, allowing them to still use their trucks as a daily driver.

Turn around time is usually the next day.

I recently got a good discount on my parts, so cost and the amount of time required have been drastically reduced! $70 for parts and return shipping. $15/hr for about 4-6 hours worth of work on both the gauges and the HVAC unit.

I can walk you through the steps of removing both the gauge cluster and HVAC panel. It's really easy.

As I've mentioned in a few other replies, I'm trying to find a replacement set of gauges to send out to people while I swap the gauges they send to me.
