I know many of you have the LED light bars but has any one done the LED head lights? I have been looking at these and possibly considering doing it.

I have a set of PIAA LED headlights on my new Silverado and so far I'm very happy with them but it looks like most bulbs that are bright enough for use in a reflector housing aren't cheap.

I would have to say I prefer my HIDs & projectors on my 4R over the LED headlamps but still prefer the LEDs over halogen bulbs. The output of the LED bulbs is similar to halogens but brighter, still not blinding like HIDs in a reflector housing though.

Do you have projectors or reflector headlights? I've been wondering how LED lights would do through the 2006+ projectors...

I have a 2006 sr5. The factory light are bright but I am just wanting brighter. I have a 2006 Mazda 3 that I converted to HID it looks good and the HID were a big improvement over the factory lights I don't know if I want to go that route again.

We have LED's in my fj40 and i just bought some for her 4runner. gaterose is correct in saying that any of them that are of decent quality (lumen output and longevity) are not cheap. when i priced it out the swap to HID's vs LED's they were comparable.

I will say that I liked the light output of my old HID's probably more than the LED's, but if you are spending any time offroad i would go with the LED's. I found that the LED's take more abuse the the HID's.

If you go with the LED's you wont be sorry. Plus you are likely to be dead and gone before they fail.

I am looking at replacing my high beam bulbs in my 07 with LEDs. Any more input would be appreciated.
