LED lighting

so, no one has put the ozniums in the front map lights? would anyone be willing to measure those two, to see if they will fit?

Even if they did fit, which I do not think they will, they would be way super bright and you would probably end up with some bright spots. Also, they may get too hot for use in gauges.

didnt think about the heat issue. i found some 6 led on autolumination.com that looked like they would work pretty good. dont know which ones off the top of my head but ill post it when i find em again.

hey can someone who has done this and done it right compile a master list, one for 96-00 and one for 01-02 complete with all the number bulbs you used, where you used them, how you made it work and even what type of LED bulb you used...this whole thread is spotty, lets get all the info in one post

Damn dude it looks good, I'm impressed! I thought about doing white on my 02, but didn't... I've got some plans for my 08 interior lighting and white is definitely the chosen color.

Looks great!

What were the LEDs used for the footwells and what was the process in having them function?

I have a 1996 and just finished installing my LEDs, but noticed that my gauge lighting is demonstrating some spots where the LED light spread is not equally dispersed. What may be the problem?

I also could not remove the cigarette lighter bulb; it seems to be embedded within.

You have to break the cigarette lighter bulb in order to replace it w/ an LED. To make the LED fit I had to widen the outer edges of the socket with tweezers.

I know this is an old thread BUT!!

I talked with V-leds rep today and how about they carry ALLLLL of the bulbs we need. It is just not on their site.

Even the NEO-WEDGES!!

Just call or email them!!

Just and FYI so you wont have to order from 15 different places.

Nice find man. I always wondered why they didn't have common bulbs.
