Im seeing 8 as well. what is the color code on them. that will tell more as to what size they are than guessing on the number of wraps.

Here is how I count them.

Ok so we may need to see the other coil to determine these. Here is a pic of a pair of 7.5 wraps from the 4sale section.

The top one shows the 2 ends half way apart indicating a 7.5 wrap but the bottom one is the same as yours (what I would call an 8 wrap). Im assuming this is because of the drivers side being taller to accomidate for the extra weight of gas tank and driver.

So based on that picture, I would have to say that they are a 7.5 wrap set. the shorter looks to be a 7.5 wrap and the taller an 8. I think they use the shorter of the 2 to determine what to call a set.

I love this game! :clap2:
Looks like 7.5 to me. You can always take a tape measure to them and go off that reading, that what I did with mine.

7.5. You don't count the 1st wrap until it has made a full 360 degree turn. And the last part of course, is 1/2 of a wrap.

I did a little measuring, the taller coil is 19.5" and the shorter one sits at 19".

Height of spring/color code/wraps
21" Blue Pink White 9.25 wraps
21" Grey Orange White 9.25 wraps
20.25" Blue Yellow White 8.75 wraps-one of these is a confirmed LX450
19.5" Green Yellow White 8.25 wraps-one of these is a confirmed LX450
19.5" Purple Green White 8 wraps
19.25" Double Purple Dark Blue White 8 wraps
19" Double Pink Light Blue White 7.5 wraps
18.5" Double Pink Grey White 7.5 wraps
18 7/8" Orange Orange White 7.75 wraps
