As far as off road, they rock. They handled the FL mud, and what I've seen of the MN mud, really well. :rocker:

On road, they are good for a mud terrain. I think I have around 30,000 miles on them now. Unfortunately most of those are highway miles. Three trips across the country with them and I'm happy enough to buy them again.

They are hard to balance though. Keep up with the balancing every 3K and you should be ok. I didn't and now I regret it.

Here are a couple shots of my 265/75's. They're ElDorado ZTR Sports, which are built by Cooper and a clone of of the Discoverer ATR's. IMO, the 265's look puny with the lift I have!

And my next set of tires: Maxxis Bighorn Radials; of course they'll be in the 287/75 R16 flavor...

As far as cornering and smoothness of ride, no negative qualities. My speedo reads 3 mph too low at 80. I can tell she lost a bit of oomph off the line and accelerating at highway, but not enough to out weigh the improved appearance and additional 1/2" ground clearance.

Definetly an appearance enhancer with the 65s and I'll never go back to stock size.

I'm new to the forum but am I missing something here?
My stock tires were 265/70 R16. Does moving up to 75's really make a difference?
