Thanks man! I am loving it. I haven't really been thinking about spacers at all, I don't have any rubbing from the tires.

bad decisions, mostly! they're the collective result of finding myself in tight overgrown fire/logging roads with only one way out a few too many times. as my lovely wife says, "don't winge about it - you got the truck to use it"

Agree with your wife. Hard to off-road and not get some scratches on the sides. Heavy off-roaders will get a lot more than scratches. Those will impact your resale value. But that's the cost of off-roading. You could always get it painted before you sell or trade it.

Unfortunately our Limited is my wife's and won't likely go anywhere that will incur scratches. It's a shame, really. My Rover is full of scratches.

I had a friend who lost his brakes on a downhill in the Rockies. Only way to slow down was to put his truck into the cliff next to the trail. Those were some scratches! (I think that was an Isuzu Trooper - can't recall.)
