I’d love to drive a 4Runner like yours and see how it feels in comparison to my more stockish setup. Everyone said E load KO2s were a drag, but I hardly notice them.

Do you feel like the extra weight and higher CG is pretty well offset with the 4.88s?

I read a review of a full-sized Ram/Camper back setup and they said the heft of the whole thing really couldn’t be ignored. Obviously that’s a whole other category, but now I’m hesitant to even add skids/sliders in an effort to keep weight down.

I’d love to drive a 4Runner like yours and see how it feels in comparison to my more stockish setup. Everyone said E load KO2s were a drag, but I hardly notice them.

I think the KO2 E load is a good choice, especially for rocks and weight. I had KO2 E loads prior to my SL's and the ride quality is obviously a bit better with the SL's. I don't have or carry much weight though. Also, I went from a KO2 275 E to a 285 SL and the 285 is 7 pounds lighter. I have not noticed any real change in mpg, not that it matters too much with these trucks. I definitely felt more comfortable with an E load tire on and off road. KO2’s are quiet and look great. I had them on my 2001 4Runner in different sizes for almost 18 years and never had a problem with them.

Just traded in my 3rd gen Tacoma for a 2020 Off road! Loving the blue flake. The dealer is currently installing PPF and 265/70/17 duratracs! Gonna get a fake pro grill once someone makes one for the 2020 and get different wheels. Anyone here running -10 level 8 mk6s? I’m wondering if I will have issues with rubbing at all!

Loving all these black beauties!! I'm still trying to figure out how to upload pics......I just picked it up in mid January, then took a trip to Bozeman, Jackson and SLC for some powder hunting. The stock Bridgestone dueller HT's did surprisingly well in some sketchy conditions, but I'll still be swapping them for Coopers or Les Schwab (AKA Toyos) soon. No trouble over 4th of July pass in a driving snowstorm, no problem over Teton Pass with 8" of snow. Many trips also over the mountains to Winthrop, WA. Damn, this thing is hard to keep clean, though...

Im new to the 4Runner club

So yea already added two, 33000 XS Batteries. Swapped all headlights to 10k LED bulbs, next is fabricating amp racks. Installing amps and cables for amps. Then swapping all door speakers out. Then build the sub box for two hcca orion 12’s with a plexiglass window.
