Lets see those Tool boxes

I did a little lathe work!

I cut a barrel down on a Smith and Wesson M&P 22 from 16" to 4.75"

I had also cut the hand guard down 2" on the lathe.

I have a question for the rest of my Automotive guys... how many of you have a complete inventory on paper of what tools you have? generally done for insurance reasons and what not. the guy who works next to me in the shop has a 4 or 5 page list and pictures of all his drawers...

I keep inventory on every tool I own in my box plus prices for insurance purposes, plus my tool truck guy can get me a print out if I need a receipts etc. Isn't hard to reach $20,000 in tools over time some even reach further than that ... I'm not going to disclose that info because my wallet start hurting

I have been wanting a bigger tool box for a couple months and I have told the Tool man to keep an eye out for a trade in or heavily discounted. He stopped by yesterday and showed me some boxes that they had from trade in's and some dinged up ones.

I did not have the heart to tell him that I bought a box already and he was too late.

But on to top things off. He was selling used double bank bottom box for $2995. He had a new dinging up single bank box for the same price. :der:
I ended up doing the same thing. and he finally came through.
he came up with this box for $2500, so I jumped on it.

My new box for at work and my old box for my home garage. Both filled with Snap-on & Matco tools. A new top box is in the near future for my new box.

That is a nice set of tools. I will say I never use my nut drivers anymore so I sold them though Beta makes a nice set of flexible ones I would love to get my hands on.
