I just put in a kenwood 152 kdc in as well as a 12' kicker compR subwoofer powered by a 2000 watt crunch amp. No picks to show right now.

I was originally going to put it right over the 3rd brake and use those screws, but it looked terrible and I was unable to aim it where I really wanted it. It took a while to commit to drilling, tried double stick tape and it looked shi8y and wasn't sure how long it would last in the hot and humid N FLA climate. So since I intend on keeping it for as long as I have the truck, and really wanted it up high because I tow a trailer a lot for my business, I gave in and did it.

It sounds really good even with stock speakers. Plus interesting location on rear view camera. I don't want to drill the hole and video cable was also short. Rear view display is not too bad. Actually, It is better than my expectation :couch2:

Currently no music, just a headunit, and tweeters.

Just got my Big 100Ah AGM installed under the hood (squeezed it right in there lol).

What I've got to mess with for a set-up.

2 - Kenwood KAC-7204's
Memphis M-Class 4-Channel

Keeping the 9800BT, this is the third one I've had, and I'm not selling it only to go and buy another later.

Not sure if I'll even put in any subs, going for minimum intrusion, and the spare tire, toolkit, and eventually 1st gen rollbar might make it plain impossible, but they're all staying.

I did see his install pics and was like wtf. But its no big deal really. Sure he cut up his door but so what. You can find new door panels at a scrap yard for probably $50 each.

It isn't necessary to cut new speaker holes in your plastic so I assume that's why people were giving him a hard time.

I still think he was a nice guy for starting a cool thread and I hope he posts here.

It seemed like it was done properly, he said he had the mid in a sealed enclosure, and the install wasn't really messy, just kind of strange to chop up your door panels, no biggie.

Only thing that really made me wtf was the crossover mounted to the outside of the door panel.

Thanks for the idea on mic placement! I just installed an Alpine BT unit in my wife's Runner and I had been struggling with where to put it.
