Let's talk Toyota service department experiences

Hello All,
I have 2013 LTD, experience is so far positive. Just did my first oil service by Edmonton Toyota Dealer at 8000 KM (got life time oil change when bought truck/ for 450C$), book the appointment on same day and got served by the shop Forman, he did all maintenance/checks by himself (maybe it’s slow day or I was lucky).
The Oil was Toyota full synthetic 0/20 and oil filter, best of all he didn’t cut corners and took the front plate off completely. Will keep the Forum members updates as time pass. .

I don't know if they do, but if I ran a dealership, I would task the service manager with first creating a competent department staffed with professional mechanics and techs; and then review their performance. Part of that review would be tracking poor work, call backs and other issues. You'd think they all would do that - it's good business and helps the profit margin too. A well treated customer is a customer forever.
