Leveling kit with STOCK tires/ Pictures???

Dobinsons front and rear...ordered front 238's but after installation got a full 2in up front, 599's gave 1in in rear

Does anybody know why the Limiteds have different front coil springs left and right? Noticed this when detailing the rig. The driver side has more coils (not sure what to call it) than the passenger side. I'm guessing to help compensate for the driver's and gas tank's weights??

Our Limited is also riding very rough even when the roads aren't that bad. The vehicle is very jarring going over the slightest road imperfections. All stock and running 32 PSI all around. Not even 8,000 miles on a 2017 4x4... Definitely need some insight!

SR5 and probably TRD Offroad stock suspension are the same. Different coils on driver and passenger side. Found this out when doing 5100s upfront on my SR5 4x4. Accidentally installed the coils swapped and the front end was uneven with driver side lower. I'm guessing that the driver side comes with a stiffer spring rate to handle more weight to even it out. It's the same for the TRD Pro stock suspension, but instead of using different spring rates, it's handled by the adjustable height on the shocks. Driver side shock is set to have the spring sit higher than the passenger side.

Daystar Leveling Kit

Here is my 5th Gen Limited 4x4 with Daystar 2.5"/1.5" leveling kit on the stock 20s with stock tire size. Planning on going with Gunmetal TRD 17s with 32" KO2's soon. Hope these images help get a good feel for the look and added tire clearance. Ride is close to stock, feels a little more top heavy under hard cornering but I don't drive my Runner around a track so I am really happy with the outcome. The rake just looked silly.

I did something a little different to level my front and not touch the back. I installed Bilstein 5100 at 0.85" (2nd notch from the bottom) and then a 3/8" spacer on driver side and 1/4" spacer on the passenger side. This removed the lean that all our Toyota truck has upfront. My measurements are 30.75" LF/RF and 31.00" on LR & RR. Here is my current photos with my new stock PRO rims and tires.

Bought my 17 in Nov of 19 from a Toyota dealership.
It has 1½" spacer on top of front struts. As far as I can tell the rear is OEM.
Tires are not stock, 285/70r17 Toyo Open Country A/T on Mickey Thompson "Deegan 38". The spare is a stock tire/wheel so if I ever have to use it I'll update with a photo. wheels.

I love your setup! Those are the rims I want. How do you like those wheels? My 20's are so sunken in to the wheel well it looks silly. I understand that the Pro wheels do push out a little further to be a little more flush but not by much. I am hoping these will solve the issue, I wanna keep the wheels TRD if possible. Do you have any side view images so we can see how flush they look? I am not a fan of spacers. Also what size tires are you running, thanks in advance.

The tires are stock size P265/70R17 Hankook Dynapro AT2 tires, had three sets on my old FJ for 10 years and they never let me down. I will post a photo from the side so you can see how the tires look. BTW I am also not a fan of the spacers, the spacers I added are minimum and barely noticeable, see the photo I posted showing the 3/8" spacer which you barely can see. I did not want to go full 1.75" up front, that is why I added them.

Did you use plastic or aluminium spacers? Nice 4Runner- do you have a close-up picture of the plate garnish without the lettering? I'd like to see how the dimples look on a Super White.

I used the plastic type spacer from Wheeler Off-Road. I will later post a photo of the rear end.

Jason the photo of the 4runner looks great! My question are you sure the photo is correct with 2" front and 1.5" rear level lift? Seems to me that the stock 4runner rake is usually averages 1.5" to 2" difference. So with that is it possible the photo you posted is 2" front and maybe 0.5" rear level lift?

I have a limited with 275 55 20s and I went with the 1inch cornfed front. It’s very subtle. Better for sure, but if I had to do it again I probably would have went 2/1.

hey guys, I am need of some advice, my shocks & struts are toast according to the dealership. I want to replace them but not with stock, something with a little lift. i have been looking into Bilstein 5100's but not sure what to order. Also, if i order all 4 shocks, do i need struts too? Totally new to mods, so anything will help.
