It is a shame the current gen 4runner has a rear exiting exhaust, effectively making one of the 4runners best features useless, unless you like breathing in exhaust.

Easy Fix. Just cut the tail pipe before it turns and all the fumes will blow out the side behind the rear wheel.

I love when we have to chop things up to enjoy our features...

on my 2014, unless I get about 1/2 to WOT, the fumes don't really get sucked back in the rear window from what I can tell.

but if I do get on it, man does it stink to beat all.

are you really asking this?

You know, I'm just wondering what the heck you have done in this world that makes you feel you can come across with such a negative and condescending attitude with folks on here.
For future reference, if I ask a question on here than yes I am really asking it?

You ok with this?

Just to clear up any animosity or confusion, I think Stifler was simply confused because people seem to never use the search functions of forums like this. Then they post (and no, im not pointing fingers at you) useless posts asking questions they could've answered with a quick search, thus clogging up and adding to an already cluttered database. Hope that makes sense. Let's keep it civilized y'all

I think it is a legitimate question. It is not uncommon for people to start threads for no other reason than to get people all worked up. When I first read your question I thought it might fall into that category. Apparently it does not, however. Lets all just carry on.

Simply saw a vehicle on the interstate and was curious what it was.

It seems 1 member on here always has an attitude with folks.

No need for that.

As a new owner and member, I can tell you your membership will not grow if you have folks like this rebuking people.

Kinda of takes the enjoyment and enthusiasm away.

To answer your question, yes there is a Lexus variant that has been increasing in popularity as an incredibly capable offroad machine.

Stifler is kind of a dick. With a username like that, what would you expect? Hang around a little more often and you get used to him, and soon you'll be laughing with him.

I think the annoyance with the OP is kinda legitimate though. A quick google search or reading Wikipedia would probably have answered the OPs question, and then the forum is not further clogged with pointless threads.

If someone asks a question and one feels the question is beneath them answering, you don't have to take the time to respond.

No harm no foul.

There are many ways I could have found an answer, I could have just looked up a Lexus dealer and asked a sales person etc....

I thought folks on here were knowledgable enough and would enjoy giving a quick answer.

Just saying.

You could ask a sales person, and they would make up some BS answer, because sales people don't know S about S....Even though they like to brag about how much material and training they have gone through on the brand's lineup. Sales people know how to do 2 things, Lie and Sell things. They do come up with some amusing answers though sometimes.
