Love the lines of your rack. Any plans for a group buy in the near future?
Thanks! Not at the moment, but I'm not opposed to one.

Just went on the LFD website. All the prices are very reasonable. It's refreshing not to be gouged. I just wish he made more stuff.
Thanks Jacob.
What's the weight difference between the steel and aluminum crossbars?
Also, do you have any plans for a ladder anytime soon?
What else would you like to see? There's a lot we're working on that isn't up yet.
Wish list:
Front recovery points - Look at ApexOverland.com, we may be involved there a little bit.
Modular storage panel for the rear windows - We're just now starting to work with OrangeBoxx
Compressor mounts - Made for ARB Compressors, not yet marketed.
Accessory mounts (to secure fuel, water, shovels, awnings, kayaks, etc) for the various racks including your own - Made for RotoPax and awnings, not yet marketed. Shovels Id recommend quickfists, they bolt right to our crossbars, and the kayak mounts on the market seem work well with our crossbars from what I see of customer pictures.
More skid plates to match your front skids - Made, not yet marketed. Transfer and gas tank skids still need a little tweaking.
Ditch light brackets - Haven't tried yet. Will eventually get there.
CB Antenna mount - Haven't tried yet.
Hidden winch bracket or winch mount option/partial bumper for 10-13 bumpers - We just happened to add an early 5th Gen to the fleet not long ago...![]()
I got my updated light bar brackets (Thanks, Jacob!) and will get them mounted up this weekend with a lightbar I picked up to test out. I'll probably end up going with the Apex 43" light bar in the future, but for now I have a very low profile single row 43" light bar from Xprite that will get mounted up.
Pics will follow...
No progress today...discovered that the bolts for the new brackets aren't long enough to use with the wind deflector. Off to the hardware store. Pics later...maybe next weekend!
Whoops! Forgot about that...
I’ve been very impressed with all of LFD’s products so far, but that light mount looks way out of place. I expected it to be much lower profile.
I like the rack, and the modular crossbars are awesome. The cad plated hardware is not my favorite, and kills the vibe. I realize black oxide steel rusts very quickly. Perhaps button head stainless might look better?
Yeah, we tried some black oxide bolts and they rusted quickly. Not opposed to switching those to stainless if that's the general consensus.
The light bar we designed those for is much larger than the one OP used. They are definitely large for that light.
