Would anyone with the 7/8 mind measuring how tall the rack is from the roof? Is it taller or shorter than the oem rack. Trying to see if the RTT that I'm interested in buying would clear my garage with the 7/8 rack. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Should be about three to four weeks. The current batch just went through welding and is off to powder coating next week.
This is my area of specialty. My carport is 78" tall so all of my decisions have been based around that. LFD racks are slightly taller (at 4.25" over the roof) than OEM but much shorter than the mounting solutions the OEM would require, such as Thule/Yakima crossbars. Hopefully you have a taller, non-standard garage and it might clear. That would be amazing.
Sure. Mine sits perfectly over the antenna with little clearance. Protects it and doesn't interfere with reception.
Barcelona Red crew! Got any more pictures of the ride? Curious about your wheels.
Are there any new codes for the cross bars? Want to order 3
Spacing between fairing and roof- most racks seem to curve toward the roof at the front and contact the roof with the fairing (with some weatherstripping or the like). I think it looks more finished. How does everyone feel about the gap with these LFDs? I really like the look, but an worried it looks unfinished up front.. Any good photos of this issue?

This and the height of the rack are my only (minor) complaints. I think the rack could have been designed to be at least an inch shorter and the fairing does bug me but it does not seem to create more wind noise the way it is designed.
This isn't a rack that follows the curves of the roof so there is some gap between the side rails and roof towards the front anyway. I'm getting used to it and since it's not a functional issue I can live with it.
I would like a way to cover up the silver stock bolts without pulling them and painting them.

Has anyone mounted a Thule Box on the LFD racks? I want the rack for off road goodies, but use my Thule Force XL box for vacation trips.
I've seen some Yakima boxes on top and just wondered if the Thule feet fit the rails as well. Thank you!
I never officially found out. I did see a set up close and it’s looks like it would fit. That’s the best I can tell you.
