License Plate Frame

Got the frame
Well, I went ahead and ordered the license plate frame from www.autoattire.com ; looks pretty cool but I would like to know what you guys think so here is a pic. (yeah, I didn't blur out the plate number because I ride around with them exposed everday and the whole world can see it anyway...whatever)
...yeah that's me taking the picture, couldn't get my reflection out of that shiny new ride....lol (pretty giddy, ain't I?)

Looks sharp on that black ride.
My carbon fiber TRD one finally arrived in the mail today and looks pretty sharp on the galactic gray.
I've always wondered why people blur out the plates myself... not like you can't drive down the road and see their plate number.

So, I was looking at Internet vendors of frames like those shown in the first post, about $40 for a gold plated brass frame - is this for a single frame or a pair of frames? Here in CA we have plates front and back, I guess there still might be some states that require only one plate.

What I would really like are black frames with 4RUNNER in gold text but I haven't be able to find this.
Yes, that is one of the places I was looking. So if I want the gold plated frames they are almost $40/each - $80/pair plus shipping. Ouch!

no black frames, but this site has those same frames for around $24 each.

i havent ordered anything from hear so i cant vouch for the site. been leary of buying from them since they quote a 5.5 lb shipping weight for a single metal frame at around $12.50 shipping UPS ground.
i may forgo a frame altogether since i have 4 RUNR as a license number anyway and too much ref. to the 4runner may look tacky.

Where did you get your license plate frame? Could you give me the part number and the telephone number of where(the dealer) you purchased the chrome frame with black writing. I tried a couple of dealers over here (East Coast) and didn't find one like yours. I really like the one you have on your rig. Any info on part # and telephone #'s will be very appreciated.
