Lift advise

I have a 2000 limited with 101000 miles,this will be my dd and also used for camping,fishing etc.I would like to keep it very road friendly as I also have three little kids.I would like to run 265 or 255 tires with a 2-3 lift,I don't like my tires stuffed in the wheel wells,what do you recommend,Cost is a factor but I also would like a stock or better ride,I like the lc/tundra set up but that's why I'm asking,i plan on adding bumpers and winch in the future and I also live 15 min from the rocks at Disney,so putting around there from time to time might happen.

LC coils will lift you beyond 2-3". More like 3-4" depending on stock ride height. But the LCs are a great ride in the rear from those who have them. They don't handle additional weight as well as OMEs, per se, and will sag some in those cases, but typically there is some rake with LC/Tundra setup without weight in the rear, so take that for what it's worth.

For 2-3" you'd be better off with OME springs all around and bilstein struts and shocks, IMO, but again, read up. Everyone has an opinion on the matter, and different strokes, etc.

I just did the 5100s all around with trd springs up front and OME 890 in the rear. I don't know what people are talking about when they say the 890s are stiff -- my truck rides AMAZING. It is super comfortable, almost perfectly level if not just a tad amount of rake (which looks good).

It was the OME shocks that gave the rough ride, or so the story goes. I ain't skeered of the 890s and am probably going that way myself. The Bilsteins are such great products, too.

My max is 255/85 but I will more than likely stay with 265/75,just depends on power loss,I will end up with a roof rack,bumpers and jack,it will be my daily driver.
There is so many options and numbers out there,I just don't want a rough ride,is there a kit that's put together well or better of putting it together myself?whats the part numbers for the 5100s and trd springs?

I think you should go to toytec or sonoran steel's site and pick out a lift there. That or wheelers. Sounds like you want one that's already pieced together. Those three sites have them.

Best bang for the buck would probably be bilstein 5100s front and rear, with OME coils up front and some Spacers out back.

I like the 1.2 kit because I don't have to peice stuff together later,like most I'm sure after awhile I will want to up grade,this will be a dd for 4-5 years I'm sure.
What's the differance in on road ride quility vs stock and what's the ride like with just the spacer in the back like recomended?

I have narrowed it down to toytec ultamite with super flex in the rear or ss1.2,I'm just afraid If I spend 6-700 on a lower level lift I won't be happy in the long run.
It will be a dd and I want the best ride I can afford.

Look at 285/75. Same overall height as the 255/85 buy wider. There's a lot more tire options in that size, much of which are cheaper than what I've found in a 255/85.

I creeped your posts and found pics of your rig. Man it looks great! I think you helped me make up my mind. I've been debating spring, and after seeing yours, TRD up front and 890 in the rear will bistein all the way around looks perfect.
I was considering going Toytech/Eibach all the way around, but wasn't sure I wanted nearly 4" of lift in the rear.
I've got Airlift bags for the back to help with the extra weight for towing and hauling the dirt bike on the hitch hauler.
I'm looking at a set of Bilstein Shocks, 5100 up front and 5125 for the rear.

Where's a good source to buy new TRD springs?
