Lift and alignment question

I had today planned to install my lift and tires but the tires got delayed till Tuesday. Would it be ok to install my lift and have it aligned with stock tires then just switch them out on Tuesday?

I think the answer will be NO.
You need an alignment with new tires.
You probably could put on the lift and wait for tires if you don't drive too much.

You don't want to sacrifice your new tires not wearing properly because you didn't do the alignment after installation.

General rule of thumb is tires first then alignment. With That said. I did the opposite and have had no I'll effects with about 9k on soft tires so if something was wrong it would definitely be amplified.

The lift is what changes your angles, not the tires. You can align it with the old tires as long as they are good. As the others have stated, generally you wouldn't want to do it, but you are not hurting anything.

I put a 1"/1.5 daystar lift on and the wife drove all week until I had a day off to get the alignment.
The Firestone Lifetime only allows every 6 months, 6,000 miles I believe, so you can't take it back 2 days later unless you probably bought the tires there. FYI, Doug
