so i am looking for a leveling kit for my '05 t4r sport 2wd. the one i think looks the best is the truxxx because it is 3 in the front and 1.25 in the back. that will give me better clearance plus that nice level look. anyone here put on a similar lift and level? post your pictures

Most people in this forum will tell you to go with the Daystar or Cornfed. They are a hell of a lot cheaper than $400 and will give you the same look. There are plenty of those pics floating around the forum.

i went to check out the lift at 4wheel parts. the lift only costs i think 160 or 130 im not sure wich. but after tax and labor i aint rollin out of the shop for less than 700 bucks! thats just rediculous

i have a 3rd gen so some things are slightly different than the 4th gens when it comes to lifting, but you should check into doing it your self. its really easy. i installed my swayaway coilovers in about an hour and a half and the rear took about an hour for the ome coilsprings and shocks. its honestly fun and simple

too bad I can't hook you up. I have two shops that i can choose from that are going to do it really cheap for me. I just happen to know the owners though. I'll let you know how much itll cost after its all said and done.

so if i did a lift like the daystar thats just putting in spacers right? how long would that take me to do if i only did the front? any special tools required? how difficult is it? will i need to make any changes other than putting the spacers in?

im noy familiar with spacer lifts but it should be simple and no extra tools would be required, like a spring compresser. i think the big space just bolts ontop of the strut and then into the mounting holes, and a front alignment is a MUST have after a lift
