Love the Blue Ridge parkway! Used to do alot of hiking on the AT when I lived in Virginia. The fall (and early spring) was my favorite time of year to get out there and hit the trails......and of course break out the snowboard when it was "cool enough" in virginia to handle the snow haha.

Just got new wheels and tires put on, TT FJ 16" wheels and MT Baja ATZ's 285/75/16. Lift is Icon RR's set to 2.5" and toytec super flex springs with 5100's in the rear.

I notice you have a Sport Edition. Did you have to do the normal caliper trimming to fit those 16" wheels? I would really like to go down to that size but don't want to trim.

Thanks! I'll post up a couple more from my hatteras trip this past weekend.

I had to swap the front calipers, rotors, and dust shields from a FJ in order to fit them. No way they were fitting on there with caliper trimming with the larger brakes on the sport edition.

looks great what size tires can that lift clear?

Awesome rig! How did you attach that winch on the front? I always thought I would have to spend the money on an ARB or Shrockworks bumper to get a winch on the rig.

1) Should be able to clear 33"s with trimming. Wont upgrade until these nittos are done.
2) The winch is attached to a CBI Offroad front reciever, very strong. I thought about doing a bumper but I like having the option of a portable winch.

Magert, Great looking 4Runner! The SW bumper is the best looking after market front bumper on the market IMHO. If I can offer a couple of suggestions for the bumper. If you can, try to increase the bumper to fender gap by another 1/2". The bumper flexes quite a bit and will push up on your fenders when max flexed. If you watch the brush guard while driving down the paved highway you can see how much movement there is. The other suggestion (if you already haven't done it) is put some cotton reinforced isolators on the shackles. They will keep the shackles from rattling around and beating up the bumper. They're relatively inexpensive and you can get them from here:

3 on either side of each shackle should do. Grats on a great looking rig! :zoom:

X2. I have about a 3/8" gap and I still make body contact when I go offroading.
