So my tundra isolators from wheelers and my blue Tokico shocks with 1k on them are in the mail which makes my lift complete. Figured I might give this another shot. Looking for some help. I will be in SD from Wed 24- Sun the 28th. Would any of you SD/OC guys be able to help a brother out? Figure BBQ has been done so...mexican...pizza?

not sure exactly what sort of help you need but theres no way i could have taken my stock coilovers apart and built my Tundras at home. Took it to a local shop and they had to torch the retaining nut off the stockers to remove it and for $45 i was there maybe 30 min. and done. Well worth it to let a shop with a big heavy wall mount compressor do the work and not risk getting hurt or extremely pissed off :biggrin2: The rest of it is pretty straightforward but if you unhook your front sway bar and take your stock bottle jack to push down on the upper a arm you can get the new ones in.
I was definitely thinking of letting a shop handle my front coils. I think I COULD handle it, but I had some troubles the first go around, so looking for some install help

x2 take it to a shop it saves so much time for 45 bucks. yay for wall compressors.
Yeah. What I was thinking is to park it at whoever's house, disassemble, catch a ride to a shop and have them compress, then I can just bring them back and install them.

To bad I am on call as I also know a guy that has a shop not far from my house that I think has a wall mount compressor. I would say lets get it done but It would be a big bummer if you drove up here and then I had a call.

What I need is a extra set of struts so when some one has a lift to do they can use the extra set to get there lift ready then give me there old ones for the next guy that needs them and so one. The lift gose pretty fast if you have the fronts ready to go.
Thats exactly what I was thinking. Get a communal set of struts going. I dont know how you'd feel about it, but if someone else was there (pikeman said he might be up for something), then if you had to leave we could just 2-man the rest of the job.

Yeah after using those stupid manual spring compressors for hours, I'm done. $45 is well worth it.
Yeah I don't forsee a body lift. I have my light bar that would take some modification to work with a bl and Id be stoked to run 285s so the tire thing isn't an issue. No 35s for me haha
I wont need tires for a year or so...Ill have to run my silly 265/70s till then. Im sure I will be driving myself mad when that time comes deciding between 285s and the loss of power and mpg and 265/75s.
As for the install, whenever I can get a helping hand is when it goes on. Im not that confident to try and tackle it myself. And while I do have a lot of tools in my parents garage, I have no jack stands.
