i had this same problem. I replaced the stock clamps with a pair from autozone that would tighten up more that the stovk ones and no problems since. I have put on about 10000 miles since lift

You might want to drop the front diff in order to avoid future prolems and reduce the stress on your CV's. It is cheap insurance that most people overlook when then lift their IFS trucks.

Don't worry too much, as shown in the photo, he has much more than a spacer lift on his 4 Runner and the diff drop is only $30. I will likely order a diff drop and install it when I install my lift just in case...
Now I need to figure out what a front swaybar relocate kit is for and if I will need it as well... I'd rather install all of this madness in one big shot rather than taking things apart more than once...

did you happen to take before & after measurements? i bet you got a 3+ inch lift up front. you might want to try cranking the COs down an inch. toytec sends them out set too high & some guys have even gotten an almost 4in. lift up front, also, it can get a kind of "floaty steering" feel when on the highway.

the swaybar relocate brackets look like 2 , 1/2 - 5/8 in. blocks that move the SB farther off the frame. they advise its use with 2 or more inches in lift to provide proper function. also, you shouldnt really need a diff. drop at 2.5 & below, its suggested/reccomended when going over that.

update, Thanks for the email, I did a similar fix, well temporary fix anyways since its not holding 100% like it should be and regreased everything up so were good for now.
I installed the toytec ultimate 3" lift kit, that included the differential drop, and the sway bar relocate and I installed all of the components before it drove anywhere so Im not sure whats up with that.
I think Im going to lower the c/os a little though, the alignment shop cant get the lower bushings to move so its tough to align right now until I get that fixed, but for now its on the road and everything else is good to go

Damn, the differential drop, and the sway bar relocator and still that trouble?
Maybe it is just the seals on the boots then(?)...

that looks like a lot of grease, for a temp fix you might want to try putting a hose clamp on there, Ive read where others have done this with great results, so I thought Id try it, I did it the other day, and so far have only about 50 miles, and speeds about 40 but seems to be working pretty well, heres a quick pic:
