Lift installed - need help.

Here's my problem. I went to install my lift and the rear is insanely high. Based on what I have read, I am 2-3 inches than others on this board who have gone with the same set up. This is causing me additional problems to include over extending my sway bar and placing my new shocks in an extremely awkward position/angle. Here are some picks which should help explain.

Rear Shocks are Bilstein 5125 with Shackle mount adapter and LC7 the coils are 19" Double Pink Light Blue White 7.5 wraps and 19.5" Purple Green White 8 wraps.

Neither of the coils are seating properly

It's causing both of the shocks to sit at a horrible angle.

Sway Bar is stressed to the MAX

I should not be this high

I had a similar problem when I installed LC springs on my 4runner. My rear was 3 inches higher than my front Tundra coils. Do you have any weight in the back (spare tire and hitch?) Did you put the taller coil on the drivers side? You can remove those cone bump stops and that will lower you 3/8 of an inch. People said they were supposed to settle, but after a couple weeks they never did so I swapped the coils to OME 890's.

Pull out the stock bumpstops out of the coils.
You will need longer endlinks or extended sway bar brackets.
Flip your shocks, they are upside down.
You may be gaining lift off that stem adapter.

I did put the taller one on the driver's side. Was your sway bar that stressed? were your shocks at weird angles?

When did you bolt the sway bar back in? Or did you even unbolt it to install the shocks and springs? I'd unbolt the sway bar, unbolt the lower shocks mounts, try to get the springs to seat better and then reinstall the shocks. Don't bolt the sway bar back up until it's on the ground and not until you have longer sway bar end links.

I installed my 8 wraps and didn't have these issues......I'm running SkyJacker 2.5" lift shocks, and stock stabilizer bar end links.....the angles are all good...

If you didn't unbolt your end links prior to install, that may be your problem....I used my Haynes Manual to assist with tear down and install....very helpful.

x2 on making sure the shocks and swaybar are unbolted when putting in and seating the coils

I have the lc coils in the rear. I took out the cone bumpstops and have sway bar lift/relocating brackets to prevent the stress to the sway bar.

No bump stops? Is this normal with every coil choice or just when you run LCs?

Anyone no where to go for these? Anyone running no rear sway bar?

You've gotta be kidding me.

I don't think so. I left one of the shackle mounts loose and when I put weight on wheels I still had play in the shock (i.e. I could wiggle it all around)

Do your coils not seat all the way like mine are doing?

Where did you get the sway bar relocating bracket?

I did remove the sway bar prior to installing the coils.

Did you unbolt the end links or just the brackets underneath? Reason I ask is with that much lift I'm shocked you would even be able to get the end links back together.

Regardless, I would start with removing the sway bar at the end links, get the shocks right side up and go from there.

The shocks are not upside down. I run OME 861's which give about 5 inches of lift. I ran those exact shocks and the stock rear sway bar setup.

OP, walk us through the install process you did.

yeah I ran this same shock for a while too. We sell them at at work all the time as well. Trust me, its not upside down.

The lift height you got doesn't seem to be that far off either. This is what I was at when I was running my LC coils. I do have a 1.5" body lift, but I didn't have the 9 wrap coils.
