What's up everyone. I have a 2000 TR4 and I am looking for some ideas for lifting it. I used to have a 95 tacoma with a 6" lift on 35's and loved it, but unfortunatly I was stationed in the military somewhere that I could not take it and had to sell it. Now I'd like to lift this TR4 that I got, but I am lacking the knowledge about how to go about doing so. I have looked on every website I could find, and it seems like they do not make to many kits that I would like. I would like to avoid a body lift b/c I hate being able to see the frame, and I would like to just get it high enough to put some 33's on without having to worry about them rubbing. I want to make this a BA looking truck to take out on the beach to show off while I sit next to it with a fishing pole in my hand!! Any ideas?? If so, I really appreciate it!!:reddance:

unfortunatley, 3rd gen 4runners cannot be lifted. Its simply not possible. im sorry to tell you

toytec ultimate or sonoran steel. What they mean to say is this vehicle doesnt "lift" like a taco. Brackets, blocks etc. You can get 35's under these but youll have to match up a body lift and a suspension kit. Im running 285's with a 3"toytec and 1.5" 4crawler BL. With that said I have taken lots of the intel from it and made my own set-up on the cheap. If you are patient and troll craigslist you can score some serious stuff on the lowball. I'm running a coilover front suspension on the stock height and soon adding in the LC 8 wrap rears and nitro shocks. I have paid under $650 for everything. If you want this set up new I'd go with the Toytec ultimate lift for $1k, however the most complete lift would be the 1.2 Sonoran Steel setup which has absolutely everything you need, but again costs 2x what I put mine together for. I'll be running 255/85 tires (~33x10) and stock wheels on the SR5 fenders. I'll post pictures of the set up as soon as I get the time to put it all in. I'll also do a write up on install and how well it works after I get to put it through the paces of desert running or hard 4x4ing.
