Speaking about the front alone.
I've got a new theory I need some other opinions on.
So:
If front spacers decrease wheel travel by sacrificing droop..
And if Bilstein 5100's accomplish the same thing, yet unlock adjustments for both raising and lowering from stock height using their spring perch ring system...
Let's say I buy the 5100's now using the .75 or 1.25 setting, until I get enough money for a true lift spring.
But in 6 months if I placed the 5100's on their lowest setting with the instal' of true 3 inch lift springs, effectively lifting the vehicle about an inch and a half, sacrificing neither droop nor its opposite, would I then have the most effective non-invasive IFS sequoia lift kit by flipping the paradigm of not having enough spring for the full range of motion under torsion during hard twisty climbs? Would this be at all nice on the paved roads? I just imagine if it has all the travel of a lifted vehicle without the futile body roll, I could drive it harder on the everyday than if it were fully lifted without having to deal with being locked into a ride height, or lifted when not on the trail.
Would this basically be overthought out and worthless, or would having 3 inch springs and 5100's notching them down be the most real and effective 1.5 inch lift solution?
