What makes these different than others? Some are making their kits out of rubber, aka (polyurethane), and those kits can compress over time. I just had a guy that had a 2.5" kit from another company made out of rubber/polyurethane, and after 2 years it went from a 2.5" in the front to a 2". It shrunk that much and then he started to rub on his front tires. He called me and I sold him a 3/2 kit and explained how this will never happen with this kit. Also, every kit is made in the USA, custom made to order here on the east coast. Then it's shipped 2 day priority mail for quick delivery. All prices updated as of now and will run this sale as long as I can until tax season ends.

Also, we are now making the driver side rear spacer thicker than passenger side to get rid of the lean. 4th gens LEAN on the driver side more (due to the gas tank and battery being on the driver side). If you notice, the truck has more lean from the factory on the driver side. When you do any of these lifts, that lean will be gone.

I just ordered my 2/1 lift from the super helpful, and friendly Jason @ Burtman Industries. Hoping to put the lift, and some 275/70/17 BFG's on my road queen/kid hauler in the very near future.

Will I need to do an alignment after installing this?

Which kit? If it's just leveling, no. If it's a 3/2, in the instructions we say it's recommended. BUT, personally, I've had plenty of guys install with no alignment and tires still wore even. As long as you know the vehicle is in alignment right now, and your current tires are wearing even, from what I've seen on these specific trucks, for some reason it's not needed. Again, if you want peace of mind, you can do it.

How does this kit compare to the daystar kit? I'm in the process of ordering a kit and just saw this. I have a 2003 4Runner sport v8 2wd

Well, I've had more than a few customers with that kit and I've sold it before myself, and prefer not to. The last guy had a 2.5 front. Within about a year his 2.5" kit went to 2" in the front and he started rubbing on his tires. Literally shrunk/compressed down to 2" in the front.

This is because that kit is made of RUBBER, i.e. (Polyurethane is rubber). We could make our kit outs of this and while it would be much less in cost it, you will lose some of the lift over time. This isn't a joke, it's happened numerous times that I've had to sell our kit to replace the other. There is a lot of weight on that front end and you need to use materials that don't compress and shrink down.

Long story short, the last guy that called got the 3/2 kit from me and it's guaranteed to never shrink or compress. You will have nothing to worry about. If you don't rub when you first put this kit on, you will never rub in the future. You can also text or call me at 717-319-2100 with anymore questions.
