I really like how this looks. I've been on the fence about getting a kit because the front struts need replaced. My 4Runner is also white. This is a nice combo that I had been picturing. I might have to jump on this deal.
How easy are these kits to install? A few hours in the garage with standard tools, or is it a bit more complicated?

Well, I had never worked on a car in depth before (just fluid changes, wheel spacers, etc) so the install took me about 9 hours just for the front (I know). If you know what you are doing should be under 6 for the whole thing. Here is mine after I set it down with just the 3/0

Did you get to drive it yet?You will need spring compressors for the front, which can take some time. If you don't have them, you can rent from from Advance or AutoZone I think for $20, and they refund that back when you return them.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking when you mention that a piece goes on both sides of the top strut mount. I'm guessing this changes the spring rate. Does this make the ride stiffer up front? Are there any benefits to this type of install compared to a 2" spacer that goes between the strut and frame? I'm thinking that the 2", on top of the strut, would cause a slightly higher lift. Is this correct? I like the stance of the 2/1 kit, but I don't want to hurt the ride quality too much. The worn struts already cause a rough ride.

I can explain this over the phone much easier, call or text 717-319-2100, The 2/1 vs 3/2 rides the same. But if you need need shocks/struts of course you should replace them when that time has come.
