Those of you that purchased a 1" front spacer from Jason, what was you spacer made out of?
I recieved mine after a week of waiting and it is plastic (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene).
The website states front spacers are aluminum, WTH (see below).
The 1" front leveling kit gives you a 1" front lift machined from 6061 aluminum which mounts to the top of the coil spring assembly. These will help "level" out your front end and get rid of that squashed look! This kit allows for fitment of the 265/70r17 tire size which is about 1/2" larger tire than the stock 265/65r17.
Jason must be out of town because I have not heard back from him.
Did I just pay $85 for plastic?

All the 5th gen kits are made from UHMW, ultra molecular high weight polythelene. This material is MORE EXPENSIVE than alum, and also have ZERO compression properties, it cannot compress. We use this for the 5th gens since most are still under warranty and this usmw is black, vs silver causes much less issues with dealerships and warranty. The 4th gens use alum because they are out of warranty and it doesn't matter. What you need to be worried about are companies using kits made from RUBBER/polyurethane, which can and will compress over time. Not going to mention any names, but it can and will happen, but not UHMW. Lifetime warranty to never do that. IF it did, it would be known in this thread

Dealers still want to give some people issues but with the black UHMW it's less headaches for everyone. Again, the UHMW is more expensive to buy and make, but it's worth it in the end. Also, everyone in this entire 21 page thread that has a 5th gen, has UHMW spacers for it front/rear.
This is the same stuff that a hip replacements/cutting board is made of, and they also use it here on the east cost on the huge snow plows on the highway. The ends of that huge 2,000lb plow rides on UHMW on the ends to keep it 1-2" off the road surface.

Well, it's all depends on the dealer and how they want to be. That's the problem, and that's why we do the 5th gen kits in BLACK so they don't stand out, virtually undetectable..

[MENTION=171452]Steel28[/MENTION] Not being smart, but it will be 1.5" higher in the front, and 1" higher in the rear over stock. So if you meaure at the antenna now beforehand, should give you an close idea.
What are you trying to clear?

Do you know if the 1inch (1/2) front spacer require longer studs for the install?

For that I think the 2/1 would look best, and you could run those tires and wheels with 285's.

Nope, there are special low profile nuts included so you're able to use the factory studs with the new nuts that are included.
