Excellent info, thanks. Would the weld on brackets by eimkeith be considered a panhard drop bracket or a panhard lift? Not positive where it falls in the pro/con list there.

He sells both in the kit. Whether you use both or not is up to you and the size lift you have. If you have only a 2" lift you don't necessarily need the drop bracket but if you have a 3" or 4" the drop bracket is recommended to completely level the panhard bar. His drop bracket is actually adjustable so if you only need to drop the frame side a little bit to get the panhard level at ride height, there are two sets of holes.

I'm probably less educated on this than I should be... I have about 2" of lift from the coils and the tires are 265's - would the tire height affect the panhard angle at all? If not then I guess I don't need the bracket.

I have both an adjustable bar and the brackets. The brackets are the way to go to level the Trac bar. With only the adjustable bar previously, you would still have some funky movement in the back. Buy the brackets and have them welded up, it will solve the issue by leveling the bar how it is stock. As far as an adjustable bar, the only one to buy is from Sonoran Steel. The heims on the others wear out quickly. When worn they make a ridiculous amount of noise...it will drive you nuts. On that note, if anybody wants a Toytec track bar for cheap, pm me an offer.

So I ordered eimkeith's kit and it should be in the mail. I'm going to see about getting it mounted in the next 2 weeks. Pics and impressions to follow.

It feels like that might be the case. Any recommendations? I've seen some adjustable pan hard bars out there. Are these worth looking in to, in your opinion?

I think eimkeiths kit will take care of it... Not sure if I'll need to extend the brake lines or not. So far they're holding fine. Bushings are looking pretty sad all around though.

Update

So I had some work done to my truck and I've been driving it around for about a week now.

The things done to the rig include:

-cleaning rust off frame with wire wheel and scraper (this sucks)

-stabilizing rust with rust converter

-welding plates onto frame where it was rusted through

-welding the trailer hitch on (some of the bolts had broken off, other bolt holes were no use)

-painting the frame

-replacing the gas tank since the one in place was rusted and leaking through; really glad we caught that when we did; happened to have a spare tank on hand from my old rig

-adding a Lil Skips gas tank skid plate

-adding eimkeith's panhard correction kit

So the body roll and excessive bounce from the rear shocks have been corrected, and I attribute that to the panhard correction kit. The vehicle handles better and feels safer. No more of that 'are we about to tip' sensation and the skid warning doesn't come on in low speed cornering.

Again, I'm short on pics because the shop lift is unavailable at the moment, but I'll get some shots and post them up when I can.

If I do anything I will be ordering one of Keith's brackets and finding a good welder.

I highly recommend it. Keith was very responsive, had my parts out to me in no time, and the kit worked wonders. Very small amount of welding that needs to be done, too, so it won't cost that much.

Extended sway bar links will make swaybar function properly and give you a more comfortable ride.

Yeah I have a set of mstudt's links I need to put on. That and extended brake lines are on my to do list
