Lift Question

Hey, Im looking to lift my 4Runner, but still thinking it over and not ready to pull the trigger yet, but I wanted to ask some questions before I make a final decision.
What I have planned so far:
Front:
- TTAFCS-HA-0309 - Toytec/Bilstein coilovers for 03-09 4Runner(from toyteclifts)

Rear:
Bilstein 5100 Rear Shock Absorber
OME or Toytec coil springs(not sure which to choose and open to other suggestions if they are to much coil for my intended lift)
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these, and how adjustable it is. I really only want to do a 2f/1r lift and wondering, is it possible to achieve that with what I have listed? Thanks!

EDIT NOTE: I have a 2004 V8 Limited

How much is it lifted? Hows the ride? V6 or V8?

v6, i think if you ran 884/895 (someone might want to confirm 885/895 for you) combo youd get equivalent. its like a 2" lift, maybe a bit more. keeps the cv angles happy and been a beast offroad.

I saw in the suspension faqs that the 885 is what I would want stock, and 886 if I wanted to add weight(steel front bumper?) Aslo, do your 895e give you the 1in lift or are you able to keep it at stock height?

sounds correct with your first point and the 895e is their shortest rear spring i believe. its a lift spring and cant be stock height with my setup. you dont want to use the front bilstein 5100 adjustment notches with lift springs on them by the way. leave them at the zero setting - all the lift is from the OME springs. i got everything including new kyb tophats on Amazon for around $800.

This helps a lot, thank you! I wasnt actually sure about the adjustment for the Bilstein's as I know they have around 4 different settings. And how did you know where I was gonna order it from?

Say I got the 885/895e, should I expect around 2.5/1 - 2.75/1.5? And by adding a steel bumper later, would it possibly go down to 2-2.25/1? I want to avoid replacing the UCA and I would like to stay around the 2.5 range upfront, and keeping the rear low enough to balance out the two ends

Question... why would you do 895e in rear and not 895? With the 885 front .? Just wondering...

I want to level out the truck, and I’m under the assumption that the front will have to be lifted 2.5 in higher than the rear. And I believe with 895e vs 895 I’ll get 2.5/1-1.5(895e) or 2.5/2(895) but I could be mistaken, and if the 895 is the one I should get, I’ll definitely get it

Can somebody confirm ? I was under the belief that 895 and 885 go together like peanut butter and jam... but if 885/895 E is better for equal leveled than would like to know .

In my pic I have an aftermarket tire carrier and full size spare and some heavy Rock sliders and tools in cargo and I still have a little bit of rake which I don't mind but the 895 e definitely has a fair amount of lift from what I can tell. 885/895 sounds like a good combo. If no planned weight added w v8 maybe even the 884/895 or 884/895e

I didnt research a ton on the v8 it might be 885 for front more often*
 
Hey guys, I am back. Still havent bought the suspension yet(still gonna be some time due to some money problems that will be resolved in June) but I am still planning.

So, I've been doing research, and I know I will end up with the CBI rear bumper and tire carrier, and will decide between a Relentless Predator, Addicted Offroad Tube Bumper or CBI for the front.

What do you guys think of the 885/895 combo? I really dont want more than 2in up front, and I would like to shoot for a 2f/1r lift.

I have 885/895 on my V6. I also have JBA UCAs as well. The ride is nice and smooth for me. I am running Eibach pro-truck shocks though. They are said to ride smoother over rough terrain/roads vs the bilstein, but I cannot say because I have never rode on the bilsteins before.

Also running a 1.25 spacer in the rear left to even it all out.

I am hoping to keep the stock UCAs, which is why I dont want a lift over 2in up front. Will the additional weight of the v8 help with keeping the 885s down? How does the weight even affect the lift?

If using 885s, plan on doing UCAs. Its like a 3-3.5" lift using 5100s and 885s even on the bottom clip for the 5100s. This is what I run currently. I have SPCs that can be purchased under $500 shipped from Battle Born Offroad. If you're spending crazy money on front and rear bumpers what is an extra $500 for a proper suspension component. Your stock UCA is probably worn the heck out anyways.
 
i've been researching the same type of lift as the OP. i also have the V8. it was recommended to me by a rep at Wheeler to go with 5100s and the 2887 front springs (advertised as 2"-2.25") and the Wheeler T12 springs in the back. haven't pulled the trigger yet as I'm waiting until I need new tires. Just passing along info I got from a rep at Wheeler after asking the same question as OP.
 
if you go 3" plus in the front you also strain your CV angles upward too...
(reminded after looking at my new lifetime napa axles and how horizontal they are with the 883/895e setup for v6, 2"ish lift)
