Lift, Rims, and Hood Scoop

Hey, so I'm planning on getting a 3" lift, some 20" black rims and a hood scoop for my 4WD 2013 SR5. Any suggestions?

Lift:
Most people on her will tell you Bilstein 5100 which is a 2.5 lift, for the full 3 might have to add coilovers. (I decided on the RevTek Part # 432 lift - Its a spacer lift 3 inches on the front and 2.5 on the rear)

Wheels:
All black: my personal favorite and what I just ordered are the Ultra Gauntlets. They come in 20x9 for $199/wheel plus shipping at tirerack.com

Tires:
I suggest the Goodyear Duratracks it's an A/T tire but has a good M/T look or the Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Scoop:
I know you can buy a Trail Edition hood but there are some clearance issues to put on the SR5. And you'll have to get it painted.

I don't this from personal experience, but I have heard complaints from the scoop getting in the way, more than anything. Plus it's nom functional.

To the poster with "clearance" issues on the SR5: There is no difference between the SR5 and the TE that would cause any issues. Ask [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION], he and a bunch of others have done this.

Thanks for the clarification 1e. I should have added 'I think' to my post.

I probably need to add this to the dealer rant on the other thread because that's what I was told when I asked about it at the dealership.

My number suggestion is to skip the 20" rims. If you want to customize it find some 17" rims you like. Increased aspect ratio per given tire diameter will provide better significantly increased performance off-road all else being equal. There is a much larger variety of 17" suitable tires available and they are generally cheaper than their 20" counterparts.

OP if you want aggressive tires put on 20" they will need to do a lot of modification because to get a good side wall on the tire so you can deflate when going offroad, unless you take low profile 20" tires. I had 275/55/20 on my truck and then I down size to 18", well the tire I got is bigger then 20" tire but the rim is smaller. I don't know you plans with your truck but if you ever thinking of taking your truck off pavement don't do the mistake I did and had 20" it is scare driving 20" on rocks, unless you going to get mud terrain 33/35x12.5 which is a big tire. Good luck with your choice.

Not even trolling... I'm probably going to end up just putting a trail hood on since it will be easier though.
