Lifted 2wd's!!! Halp!

Will try to make a long story short here. I have a 1998 2WD 4Runner SR5. I recently installed a 3" Rough Country true coilover lift (no spacers) with the upgraded V2 shocks in the rear. New OEM LBJ's, New whiteline LCA bushings, New Freedom Off-road UCA's.
My current center wheel hub to bottom fender lip measurements:
Front - 25.5"
Rear - 24"

I am also getting terrible deflection of my lower suspension components (LCA, LBJ mainly). The car looks lifted way more than 3", almost closer to 4.5"-5".
It is also unable to be aligned (terrible positive camber).

My questions here are:
1) Have any other 2WD guys had this issue where they order a 2"-3" lift kit and end up with a vehicle too tall?
2) If you had a similar issue, how was it resolved?

I'm at the point where I am going to order Bilstein 5100's with OME 880 fronts/ and 906 (or) 890 rears w/ 5100's. Just makes me nervous because my goal here is 2.5-3" total lift and i want it to be level and be able to fit 32's or 33's. Worried about ordering another "2.5-3" lift kit and getting a big ole boi again lol.

Appreciate any insight! I tried posting all the info and pictures and will try to keep this thread active for other 2WD guys.

You're right, that's noticeably taller than normal. Something's up for sure but I can't spot anything assembled incorrectly. Only thing I can think of is you perhaps got the wrong coils - which I wouldn't put past Rough Country whatsoever. Or perhaps you ordered HD coils or something meant to pair with a bunch of weight up front like a bumper+winch, but it still seems pretty tall for that.
2WD and 4WD suspension is the same.

Are you planning to put any weight in the front like a steel bumper in the front or winch and bumper up front? That will definitely bring the front down.

Quick question... you are missing your fender liners. Do you have a body lift on there?

Also, you can fit 32" tires at stock height with a decent alignment. No mods needed. Here's mine on 265/70-17's (metric "32's").

I have a 2wd with Bilstein/OME 2.5-3" lift and it's not nearly that tall.

Like someone else said I'm guessing the wrong springs.

Are you planning to put any weight in the front like a steel bumper in the front or winch and bumper up front? That will definitely bring the front down.

I don't believe I have a body lift on this one. I have the liner just havent put it back on from having to remove for changing the UCA.

RC swears up and down they sent me the correct parts. They even sent me a replacement set up front and it's the same exact lenghts on the springs and struts. I think I'll just part ways with the RC kit altogether.

First off most lift kits are meant for 4x4 (despite rough country saying it's for 2wd). What this means are the coils are rated for the 4x4 vehicle but can be used on 2wd as they are the same suspension setup. However 2wd vehicles will see more lift due to not having the weight of a front diff or axles.

I do agree looking at your photo that the lift is still quite a bit more then I'd expect for a 3" lift on a 2wd. I doubt those springs will settle to a 3"lift based on the photo as well.

You could use a different UCA like SPC that allows you to adjust and tune your alignment more. Versus swapping springs out to see if the springs make a difference.

They're not adjustable coilovers, are they? Just trying to figure out what that copper-looking things on the shocks are
