Couple of questions for those who have lifted your trucks in the snow/salt belt.
How are they holding up, any corrosion issues to speak of?
How are they wearing in or out, after running with the gear for a few seasons?
I got an 08' SR5 with 80K on it, and 7 season driving thru the heavily salted roads in upstate NY. Running Cooper AT3's and they are cupping and chunking on the insides, in spite of frequent rotations, with only 20K on them. Told by the dealer, and Mavis that the suspension wearing is to blame. Mavis is going to credit me $90 a tire towards new ones.
So with that said, looking to replace, and considering the Toytec Ultimate 3" lift.
And swapping out the 265/65/17's for 265/70/17's. Want to stay with a P rated
tire, undecided yet, but want to stay with an aggressive AT tire.
When getting the install. what other wear items should I consider replacing.
And also, is $600 labor on the steep side, or in the right neighborhood. Looking fo a safe clean install.
