Liftgate window motor

Always had a problem with this motor. You guys swap them with a new one or rebuild or what? To be honest it was one of the benefits when I used to haul my dog around but only do that on occasion now so haven't really missed it. But now id konda like to fix it so wanted to ask the group.

Are you sure the motor itself is bad? Meaning it has power and ground and doesn't work? Or are you just guessing it's the motor because it's not working?

yeah I checked the switches a couple years ago when it stopped working, nissanh offered me a replacement motor at a great price and I installed it a couple weeks ago, back in business now.

I thought the same but after taking it all apart, turned out the scissor arms were seized from rust.
replaced the arms and all is good now.
