Did you install that skid plate back? Where did it come from?

I can happily say the skid plate made its way back to where it came from, under the truck. The ride is GREAT with the lift- no different than without it. You just feel like more of a badass driving around
Bobby, you did a great job with the lift- I never got an alignment. It doesn't pull one way or the other, and the front tires are wearing evenly. As Ed says, not fast enough, however, can't wait for those revos.

We had to take the skid plate off to do a quick alignment up front and with all these guys around, I forgot to put it back on. It made it's way back on there after a test drive.

Karl - Thanks . Told ya the alignment wouldn't be a big deal . Glad it's running good.

Stay tuned for some news about tires. I might be able to get a group deal on these things (think cheaper than TireRack w/o shipping : )

I picked it up with Koz's help wednesday night (again, thanks Koz!) and it's been sitting in my storage area since. I haven't had time to get it registered yet. Hopefully I can get it done at lunchtime today. I already have insurance though.

I did get to ride it about 5 miles on the test ride and it's not as fast as I thought it'd be but plenty fast for me. I think the DynoJet Power Commander needs to be tweaked but other than that, it's a great bike.

Getting back on topic, I was hanging out with my BIL last night and I mentioned that there's a lot of guys that are interested in getting new tires for their trucks. The shop we used is now closed b/c he doesn't have a mechanic to run it so he was thinking of turning it into a tire, wheel, suspension shop. He wants me to run it but I already have a day job. I told him I'd help out and try to bring some business there though.

I just pitched getting new tires to the wifey and got shot down.... she wants a new sofa....bummer.
