I'm gonna see if my uncle ever replaced any parts on the suspension. He bought it brand new in 98 so he would know. I guess that will depend on if I just get some spacers right now or the whole deal. How much am I looking at for new coils and shocks all together?
depends on what kit or how you piece it together...
but if your back end is sagging now, it will look worse with poly spacers.
spacers tend to squish a bit when the coils are bad. they do ok with fresh coils and shocks, but my first lift was a Skyjacker Poly 2.5 spacer kit where 4wheel parts swapped the skyjacker shocks for the procomp ones to get even all around.
all the spacer lift did with a suspension 100,000 miles old was make the back end sag more noticeable.
so if you need to replace the suspension and you want a lift, you might as well do it with suspension parts the first time, save yourself the money and aggravation of replacing your lift 2 months after you bought it like I did...
and read this whole post from Steeze that he has compiled from several of us.
