you should try for a 2.5" suspension lift and 1-2" body lift.

suspension, i recomment OME rear coils... your front setup is sort of up for debate.

front end ome coils dont give enough lift, so you can go the route of land cruiser coils, or spacers up front.

the body lift can be bought from 4crawler, do a google on that, his kit is easy and tried and true.

my setup works great and allows me get fit 33's.

how do your front axles like being lifted, have you had any binding problems or any thing, because i have seen many ifs lifts that really arent worth it, and since i just got my 4runner this summer i really dont want to start breaking stuff already so im reluctant about lifts

i dont know exactly what you mean, but as far as "worth it" goes... as long as it gives you clearance for wheeling, then it is worth it.

youre only going to get so much flex out of an ifs system anyway.

with 2" spacers up front, 2.5" ome coils in back and 1" BL, i clear my 33's pretty well (minimal rubbing) and i have a lot of clearance.... ive been able to wheel some pretty rough rock trails and did really well :)

well i was actually just on your runners site and your truck seems like it can climb some rocks pretty well, but since i have auto locking hubs i would hate to lift my truck 2.5 and then have vibrations and such from the cv's, do you daily drive your runner and does it have auto hubs?
and i know ifs isnt the best for wheeling but a solid axle swap is to much money and a pain

yup, i dd my runner and it does have auto hubs

ifs isnt BAD for wheeling, its just not as good as a SFA.

i mean i have done some crazy stuff with my ifs!

well id like to go wheel with u guys but i told myself i wouldnt bring the 4runner into the woods. i had an 87 yota pickup on 35" i still got the wheeln bug so ill prolly end up going with u guys sometime heres a pic of my old truck

come out with us sometime, we have trails for everyone :D

Im about to install the OEM Tundra/Landcruiser Lift on my 99 T4R. Sonoran Steel sells the kit with everything you need for around 1100. I pieced together for half that. But either way. Its a nice kit and gives a slightly softer ride and a LOT of flex. I will post up pics later this week after I get everything in.
