Light bar in place of rear wing

I am wondering if anyone on here has taken off the rear fin/wing and put a light bar in place of it.

I've never seen it, but it is an interesting idea. It could definitely only be used as a camping light/back up light on the trail. It wouldn't work in a normal city setting.

Just my unnecessary opinion, but I think these trucks look rather naked without those wings.

You would lose 10 hp and back downforce. I kinda agree it would look naked without it kinda like going to high school without trouser on type thing.

That big of an LED bar on the back just isn't at all necessary, you'll get all the light you really need out of a single small LED pod if you aim it right. I run a single 4" Square LED work light and it's plenty.

I have a 20" LED bar that will be mounted to the rear of my roof rack.
That way the wing stays on but the light will clear above and angle down, spot/flood combo. I used 2 KC round tube grips to set it up.
Currently it is off as I need to add the two side mount lights on the rack before wiring it all up.
Also I run the big Surf wing with retractable mirror.

what if you had a light bar that spanned most of the entire length of the middle part of the rear bumper?........

light might look cool there????? wish i had photoshop to mock one up visually...
