Light clusters in 4th generation.

I posted this once already but got like 1 response.
I don't like the orange in the light cluster area and usually don't change or fix my cars up, but after seeing this forum and all the mods and goodies, I want to try this and a few other mods.

Has anyone changed the lighting or effects on the back area of the instrument cluster on the 03-04 model?
And if so, can you tell of how much it was, pics if any, and details about where you purchased it, or any info at all.

All reponses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I believe the cluster is illuminated with LEDs. So you would have to unsolder each one, and replace it with another. Just make sure the specs of new the LEDs match that of the old

It would be a pain, but I think it could be done. A hyperwhite LED would look kinda cool in there.

If you do this, post pics when you're done.

just change the bulbs color! but them all your other light will not match then you would have to change them all! not really worth it if you ask me! the orange is better then the green on the older 4r. but i wish the orange was a litter brighter like the orange on my 95 m3.may god rest her soul!

woah, an aftermarket deck looks better in that car than i thought it would.. always thought anything but stock in the m3 wouldn't look right, but it's not that bad..

I believe they come blue stock in Japan, I remember seeing pic's of woodbert's dash before... it's quite cool. Everything is starting to use the Lexus Optitron dash style, new accords use it, i think the camry switched to it for 2005, and other cars too.

I like the orange, but now looking at the photo of the blue cluster, I like that even more.

Wish they all came that way.
