lighted sun visors

i found a pair and am interested in them. do i have to do any wiring for these or are the connections already up in the roof/headliner somewhere?

You have to wire it up. Use 12V from the reading lamps.

does anyone have the electrical schematics for the front map lights? i will assume that the power leads for the visors connect to that harness somehow.

Find the switch lead in the visor and connect it to the map light wire. There is only one wire coming to the reading lamp and that is +12 V. First insert a cable from the visor-end to the map light end through the upholstery. Then tie the wire to the cable and pull it through the upholstery.

best way would be to get the roof harness from the vehicle that you got the visors from so you can have the connectors to have easy plug and play.

that is what i want. hopefully the harness isn't big and have to remove all the trim and drop the headliner!

you would. It'd be so much easier to tap into the map lights.

not big.. it extends from the map lights to the driver side fuse box
