Lights on after installing UCA and steering wheel off. Need HELP

Okay,
Over the past few weeks I have been working on my build and one of the last things I did was put my SPC upper contol arms on and a set of wider and larger wheels on. I have an appointment for a real alignment this coming Tuesday. I am not driving vehicle until then and I dont want to ruin my tires on the14 mile trip there. I am a rookie when it comes to alignment but i do now enough not to drive it with toe out of adjustment. So I have adjusted my camber mostly buy eyeball and used a string method that I found on line. I feel I have it dialed in enough to make the trip on Tuesday.

Now for my issue. My steering wheel with the wheels looking straight sits at about a 2 o'clock angle. This is not locked. And locks in a 11 o'clock postion and wheels cocked slightly off to left. Im not really overly concerned about wheel being off as the issue that I now have with a couple of lights that came on while i was taking it on a test drive around the block.

My buddy who owns a jeep had said that the slip indicator light may come on when I drive it because the wheel is off. It did and I cant seem to turn it off with the switch. The other light that comes on is the Multi-terrain symbol and when turn key on multi-select not available pops up in display window. I also just noticed when key is turned on the the power steering warning symbol flashes and goes off at start up. The other two lights stay on.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Maybe once the alignment guy tweaks it all in. It will be fine. Im more worried about driving it there with the lights on. I didnt pinch or let anything hang while doing install. That im a where of.

HELP =)

You most likely severed an ABS sensor wire that runs along your UCA and spindle. Very common problem if they get stretched at all. You will have to test it with a multimeter since they will be broken inside the wire insulation. They are around $50-$75 and easy to replace.

Also, don't try to do an alignment yourself. Let a shop with the proper equipment do it. Driving 14 miles after installing your lift will not cause any problems.

Yea, I had enough toe in after installing that I thought maybe an adjustment would have been wise before driving on them. Its hard to tell in pic. But it is actually now sitting pretty good. Picture can fool you. Can I just fix sensor after alignment and I do know those senser wires do run tight. Should I move them somehow to reduce strain? Light didn't seem to come on until driving down the road a 1/4 mile or so

I have a multimeter and actually know how to read it. What exactly I'm I looking for as far as resistance and I'm asumming key in off position?

Thanks

If the lights were on before you drove it.. ABS wire. That will trigger as soon as you start it.

If it came on after driving. Probably 0 point calibration issue. Lots of posts about it. You can just wait and have them 0 point it after the alignment.... the most modern alignment racks have the interface to do it... If not, there is a manual jumper (wire) procedure to do it that you can do a search for and find the procedure for here.

The yaw sensor is just not in sync with the other sensors...

Thanks guys. Thinking it the calibration issue. Just climbed under truck and tested three of the 4 sensors. Couldnt get off and to lazy to pull wheel off at the moment. But the two front and the one rear all measure about the same resistance. About 125.0 resistance with key off.

When I did my lift I had the same issue with the VSC and some other light that came on. There is a thread somewhere on here how to reset it up using a paperclip and driving down the street. After I did it, all the lights went off and that was that.

Edit: think it was the terrain adjustment light as well.
