Koz, it looks awsome! I can't believe you were able to find a sport hood in Salsa Red. I think your truck has an identity crisis now. It is technically a sport because it has the XREAS and sport hood but it is also a Limited because it has leather and navigation! I assume you don't plan on doing much offroading because that hood scoop may prevent you from seeing some obstacles! :bash:

I worked out a deal with a body shop. Just in case anyone is interested it's not worth buying the hood and painting it.

I was thinking of getting a Sport hood too. I was given a quote of $750 and they will keep my Limited one.
Too much for the scoop

I got so excited I sabre-sawed and hole in my LTD hood, doesn't look nearly as good and I should of opened the hood 1st, caused a lot of damage. Bummeroonie...

Every thing is subjective. I purchased a SR5 becuase I could not stand the Sport hood and I could not afford a Limited.

Nice, I always wanted to put a scooped hood on a Limited......did it on my 2000 SR5 actually, but like you say, on a 4rth gen is pricey.
