Limited owners with ride height adj. Lift question

I have an 03 limited 4x4 with the ride height adjustment option. I want to add a 3 inch lift, tires and wheels. Are there any problems I need to know before buying because of the height adjustment option? I know I will lose this feature, but are there any major limitations? Can this be done?

Body lift? May not or even probably not a problem. Anything else like springs or spacers won't be possible.

Can't pull it out and mount new springs as the hardware just isn't there.

Anything over one inch can cause problems with the ride height system. There is no way to lift the rear unless you swap the air system for coils which can be done with a little work.

Thanks for the response. I don't care if I lose the option as I prefer to lift it 3 inches. So the rear can be swapped out for coils? Does this just require removing the air system? Are the spring perches and mounting areas the same with my truck as those without this option? Basically, can I just mount new coils in the stock air suspensions place?

TrailTeam are you planning to lift your Limited 3 inches all the way around. Assuming you're stock that would keep the built in "squashed nose" look. Even if you don't want to level things out, have you considered lifting the back only 2 inches? That keeps the back end higher rake, but seems to end up with the best look. Just a suggestion.

Yeah, I'm planning to do 2 inches in the rear and three up front to level things out.
