I've seen a number of posts of people saying that their stereo backlight has gone out while their ACC and clock lights are fine, but didnt really state if they had a solution. Has anyone found a solution to fixing this? besides just buying a new head unit? I want to keep the stock radio but my backlight has gone out ):
I found a thread on toyotanation for change the (99-200x) camry stereo's green to red and it required soldering a bunch of tiny leds across the circuit board. but i dont think this will work for my case since im pretty sure the solders are find and its something else wrong with the unit :l
