I guess I'll go ahead and call this my build thread, for the sake of keeping things more organized.
I bought this 2000 Limited at the end of June 2010. It is 2wd, but I've never had 4wd (although I would like to) and I have been fine so far as long as I'm not looking for trouble. I've already put 10,000 miles on so it is mostly a street queen anyway. Lot's of highway driving for me.
So far I've done regular maintenance and re-did the front brakes with Wagner rotors and pads, which seem to be holding up really well with no vibration. I also put in my audio system seen here

I went ahead and did an oil change and regular tune up before I head back to school for the semester. I checked my plugs and sure enough, they were single electrode ngk's. Iridium but still single. It seemed to run fine but there was already a build-up on them.

Got everything put back together and cleaned the MAF while I was at it. During all of this I had the negative battery terminal disconnected just to let the ECU reset. I fired it up and it runs great, it just has a ticking sound now. Not loud, but noticeable. I"m wondering if it just needs some miles put on it the readjust the fuel/air ratio or something. We'll see.
I also had a little accident of couple of months ago. A gate jumped out behind me and well...
It was a bad day, and repair estimate was about $1600-$1700. So until a few years go by or I win the lottery, this was my fix for now to keep the rust off.
I guess it will work for now.
While I'm posting I also got new 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATMs the other day. I really like them so far and thought I'd post them up for people who are always trying to figure out what tire to get.
