It's expensive. I looked around to have my jeep done. Inside and out, it would have been roughly the same size as the outside of the 4runner. It was roughly $2k here, in truck country. There's a damn bed liner shop on every corner in Texas. I opted to do a Monstaliner coat. I really liked it, Rolled it on with no issues at all. It can also be sprayed on. It's pretty big in the Jeep world, lots of info on it.

I also Monstalined my entire truck, and love it. My paint was pretty bad when I bought it (3 different colors). I went with desert sand and it was very easy to apply. I rolled it on although you can also spray it, was cheap and effective and have read that it lasts a very long time without fading.

The few on here that I have seen look pretty sweet. I would really consider going this route if my paint started going south. I mean, once you start getting north of 200K miles on your rig, the likelihood that you will get much of a return on your investment, should you try to sell it, is pretty low. So at that point, you have a freedom that many will never know. It is not something that you see people with brand new $40K 4runners run out and do, but I really dig it from everything I have seen.
There is someone here that [MENTION=79826]absalom[/MENTION] knows that did a really cool one in white. It looks bad ass. I would be interested in seeing one to sort of match millennium silver. That... I might be into.

There's always Spray paint....
I spray painted mine. I'm so-so about it. It could be tougher, but it was really cheap, about $120. It's Rustoleum Khaki Camo paint with Satin Clear coat over it. Having done both, I think I'd do the Monstaliner again before I did the rattle can again. On the other hand touch ups are pretty easy.

i like how the line-x looks. It just has a tough, ruggedness about it that I like. It's dark black, but matte. A few buddies of mine have line-x done on their cladding, bumpers, sliders, etc similar to [MENTION=119859]grantprior13[/MENTION] did. Sick truck by the way.
From all the pics I've seen of monstaliner, it's a gloss black. After reading this thread, I ordered the swatches for $6.50 so I could see them in person and in the sun. I like the idea of being able to roll this on myself for less than $300, but I don't want it to look like black paint that's incredibly orange peeled. I don't mind the texture if it's matte and has a rough look to it. It can add to it.
I'm very much considering this also. The paint on my hood and roof isn't holding up very well right now. I also like that I'll never need to wax it to protect it again.

It all depends on how dry your roller is when you roll it on. If it starts to dry out, you will get a very rough texture.
